Rain Barrel Rebates

Please Note
Thank you for your interest in our Rain Barrel Rebate Program. The 2025 program has now officially closed. We encourage you to check back in early 2026 for updates on next year’s program offerings.
Conserve water and save money in your home or community! The City of Saskatoon offers a rain barrel rebate program to encourage residents, schools, community gardens, and businesses to adopt eco-friendly practices.
During the average year in Saskatoon, a 1,000 square foot roof will capture enough rain water to fill a 55-gallon rain barrel 110-125 times during the gardening season!
By participating, you can receive financial support for purchasing or constructing a rain barrel, helping you save water and contribute to a greener environment. Read on to learn more about eligibility, rebate amounts, and how to apply!
