PUBLIC NOTICE

INTENT TO LEASE CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR LESS THAN FAIR MARKET VALUE WITHOUT PUBLIC OFFERING TO SASKATCHEWAN HOUSING CORPORATION FOR A DROP IN CENTRE

 

130 Idylwyld Drive North

City Council will be considering a report from the Administration on the proposed lease during the Standing Policy Committee on Finance meeting to be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., Council Chambers, City Hall.

The report recommends that the City enter into a lease agreement for the property at 130 Idylwyld Drive North with Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC). The lease would allow for the operation of a drop in centre, for the amount of $10.00 annually. 

Bylaw No. 8171, The Public Notice Policy Bylaw requires that the City Council give public notice before City Council considers leasing land for less than fair market value and without a public offering.
