Public Engagement
Public engagement is about asking people for their ideas and feedback before making decisions that may affect them.
We know City decisions can affect your daily life and the lives of your neighbors. Public engagement helps the City better understand community needs before decisions are made.
Engage Saskatoon
Designed with users in mind, Engage Saskatoon offers a streamlined experience and allows the City to provide a variety of ways to participate, ranging from surveys, discussion forums, interactive maps and polls.
Creating an account allows you to follow projects that interest you, receive updates and personalize your engagement experience, making it easier to stay connected to City initiatives and opportunities for public input. However, you do not need an account to share your input on most projects.
Other Ways to Share Your Input
Sometimes you will have feedback on a City service, policy or program and there may not be an engagement open for it. What then?
- Contact our Customer Care Centre (available 24/7) by phone at 306-975-2476
- Contact the City through our online form
- Contact your City Councillor or the Mayor
- Participate in a council or committee meeting by requesting to speak or submitting a letter
- Visit Upcoming and Past Council and Committee Meetings for meeting dates and agendas
