Customer Experience Survey now live!
The City of Saskatoon is looking for feedback about customer experiences with our residential, commercial and plumbing permit services. As part of our commitment to improving customer service, we want to understand what is going well and where we need to make improvements. To give us a baseline of current customer experiences we have developed a survey to help us understand better how customers experience moving through our permit process.
The data from this survey will provide a baseline of current customer experiences for us, giving us a standard against which we can measure any issues and improvements.This survey will be available until November 22nd 2021. Results will remain anonymous and will be summarized in a report that will be posted on our webpage and shared in our e-newsletter. Survey results will also be included in the next Building Standards Annual Report.

The Cornerstone Project has been established to deliver planned improvements to the building and development permit program and permitting practices within Building Standards, Planning and Development and Community Standards. This will be done through:
• Use of tools to aid in delivering improved customer service throughout the permitting process
• Creating a system for online submission of permit applications
• Concurrent digital plan review, and
• A re-engineering of business processes
