Bylaw No. 10207, The Procedures and Committees Amendment Bylaw, 2026

Saskatoon City Council will consider Bylaw No. 10207, The Procedures and Committees Amendment Bylaw, 2026. Council Policy No. C01-021, The Public Notice Policy requires that City Council give public notice before passing, amending or repealing a bylaw to establish general procedures to be followed in conducting business at Council meetings.

REASON FOR THE BYLAW - The purpose of this Bylaw is to make amendments to Bylaw No. 9170, The Procedures and Committees Bylaw, 2014 to:

  • amend meeting agendas to reflect current practice;
  • add a standing item to the Public Council Committee Meeting agenda to allow communications and hear speakers from volunteer members of committees, commissions and appeal boards established by City Council;
  • update the list of delegated authority matters for Standing Policy Committees;
  • amend the Advisory Committee terms of reference to include provisions specific to Advisory Committee budgets and spending; and
  • make minor housekeeping amendments.

REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING – Saskatoon City Council will consider Bylaw No. 10207, The Procedures and Committees Amendment Bylaw, 2026 at its Regular Business Meeting to be held on Wednesday August 26, 2026 at 9:30 a.m., Council Chambers, City Hall.
