Bylaw No. 10207, The Procedures and Committees Amendment Bylaw, 2026
Saskatoon City Council will consider Bylaw No. 10207, The Procedures and Committees Amendment Bylaw, 2026. Council Policy No. C01-021, The Public Notice Policy requires that City Council give public notice before passing, amending or repealing a bylaw to establish general procedures to be followed in conducting business at Council meetings.
REASON FOR THE BYLAW - The purpose of this Bylaw is to make amendments to Bylaw No. 9170, The Procedures and Committees Bylaw, 2014 to:
- amend meeting agendas to reflect current practice;
- add a standing item to the Public Council Committee Meeting agenda to allow communications and hear speakers from volunteer members of committees, commissions and appeal boards established by City Council;
- update the list of delegated authority matters for Standing Policy Committees;
- amend the Advisory Committee terms of reference to include provisions specific to Advisory Committee budgets and spending; and
- make minor housekeeping amendments.
