Proposed Aspen Ridge Neighbourhood Concept Plan Amendment
Saskatoon City Council will consider amendments to the Aspen Ridge Neighbourhood Concept Plan proposed by Saskatoon Land. The amendments include the following:
- Remove the Saskatoon Freeway linework.
- Remove the Saskatoon Freeway overlay hatch along the east neighbourhood boundary.
- Remove the buffer strip along the east neighbourhood boundary.
- Reconfigure local roadways, sites and municipal reserve.
- Change of land use for six blocks adjacent to Henry Dayday Road, east of the core park, from Low Density Residential to Low Density Multi Unit and Low/Medium Density Multi Unit.
- Relocation of two residential care home sites to the corner of Sharma Lane and Henry Dayday Road.
- Change of land use of a site adjacent to McCrory Link and Feheregyhazi Boulevard from Medium Density Multi-Unit to Medium-Density Mixed-Use and consolidate with the adjacent Medium-Density Mixed-Use site. This amendment also includes the removal of the lane between the two sites.

REASON FOR THE AMENDMENT – The proposed amendments are being pursued to incorporate the confirmed Saskatoon Freeway alignment and accommodate the next phases of subdivision and development in the Aspen Ridge Neighbourhood.

PUBLIC HEARING - City Council will consider this matter at the Public Hearing meeting of City Council on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Council Chamber, City Hall, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. You may make a written submission and/or speak to City Council at the Public Hearing.
