About the REDI Department
Systemic barriers exist within societies in the form of attitudes, policies, practices, and systems that obstruct certain groups of people from equitably accessing opportunities in their personal and professional lives. The REDI Department works to identify and dismantle these systemic barriers in collaboration with departments and community partners in an effort to shape a City that is fair and just for everyone.
We are looking for a serious, but flexible, individual who has a passion to make a difference in their home community. The successful candidate will look for creative and realistic solutions to address complex socio-cultural challenges. They will want to work alongside a team that strives to make the City – as a workplace and service provider – more equitable, caring, and engaged in social cohesion.
