McOrmond Drive overpass closed overnight June 27 for bridge repairs

The McOrmond Drive overpass over College Drive will be closed overnight on Saturday, June 27, to accommodate warranty repairs on bridge bearings.

The closure will begin at 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, and is expected to be lifted by 7 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, weather permitting.

This work requires crews to jack (lift) each side of the bridge deck to remove and replace damaged bearings. Traffic travelling under the overpass on College Drive will be maintained throughout the project.

Pedestrian and cycling access across the overpass will remain open during the closure. Detours will be in place to guide motorists around the area.
