Intent to Borrow
The Cities Act and Bylaw No. 8171, Public Notice Policy Bylaw, 2003, require that Public Notice be given before borrowing money, lending money or guaranteeing the repayment of a loan.
The Standing Policy Committee on Finance will consider a report from the Administration at a Committee meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., hosted in the Council Chamber, Saskatoon City Hall:
That the Standing Policy Committee on Finance recommend to City Council that a loan of $3,800,000 from the General Account Long-term investment portfolio, for the funding of the acquisition of 2950 Lorne Avenue for a Material Handling Site (Capital Project P.10179), be approved.
