Proposed Lease of Dedicated Lands - Portion of Grace Adam Metawewinihk Park - 1510 19th Street West
The Standing Policy Committee on Finance will be considering a report from the Administration during the Regular Meeting of the Committee to be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., Council Chambers, City Hall.
The report recommends that the City enter into a lease agreement for a portion of Grace Adam Metawewinihk Park at 1510 19th Street West with Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools. The lease would allow exclusive use of the property adjacent to St. Mary’s Wellness and Education Centre by the school. The proposed lease location is shown on the following map.
Bylaw No. 8171, The Public Notice Policy Bylaw, requires that the City Council give public notice before City Council considers leasing dedicated lands. Should Committee support the recommendations, City Council will consider the matter at the City Council Public Hearing Meeting on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
