Proposed Official Community Plan Land Use Map Amendment and Rezoning by Agreement - 1930 20th Street West
City Council will consider Bylaw No. 10149, The Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw (No. 2), and Bylaw No. 10150, The Zoning Amendment Bylaw (No. 2), proposed by Kindrachuk Agrey Architecture on behalf of Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, for 1930 20th Street West, in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood.
The Southerly portion of 1930 20th Street West is proposed to be redesignated from Corridor Residential to Community Facility on the Official Community Plan Land Use Map and rezoned from RM1 - Low Density Multiple-Unit Dwelling District and R2A - Low Density Residential Infill District to M3 - General Institutional Service District, subject to a Zoning Agreement. A Zoning Agreement is a legal agreement which establishes site-specific regulations for how a property may be developed and used.

REASON FOR THE AMENDMENT – The proposed amendments will accommodate the Urgent Care Centre and support the adaptive reuse of the former Pleasant Hill Elementary School for uses such as medical clinics or laboratories, offices, and other related community and institutional functions.
