Proposed Rezoning –Traeger Manor and asokan Avenue, Brighton
City Council will consider Bylaw No. 10157, The Zoning Amendment Bylaw, 2026 (No. 5), proposed by BDM Enterprises Ltd. to rezone land in the Brighton neighbourhood. The subject land is located in the northwest portion of the neighbourhood and is proposed to be rezoned from FUD(H) – Future Urban Development District subject to the Holding Symbol to R1A – Low Density Residential District 1A and R2 – Low Density Residential District 2.
The purpose of the R1A District and R2 District is to provide for residential development in the form of one- to four-unit dwellings, and related community uses. The proposed zoning will provide for the subdivision and development of the subject land in alignment with the approved Concept Plan.

REASON FOR THE AMENDMENT – The proposed rezoning will provide for residential development and related community uses in alignment with the approved Brighton Neighbourhood Concept Plan.

PUBLIC HEARING – City Council will consider this matter at the Public Hearing meeting of City Council on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Council Chamber, City Hall, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. You may make a written submission and/or speak to City Council at the Public Hearing.
