Scene Upon Arrival:
- Firefighters observed smoke and flames on the outside of commercial structure, right next to exterior wall of structure
Action(s) Taken:
- Crews advanced multiple hose lines to apply water the fire
- Crews noticed a gas line was affected by the fire and was leaking
- Crew entered structure to check for Natural gas in building- none found
- Crew waited on scene with SaskEnergy until they stopped the natural gas flow
More Information:
- The fire has been completely extinguished.
- There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
- A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
