House Fire on 20th street

At approximately 03:30 on Tuesday May 28th the Saskatoon Fire Department received a call from a neighbor of flames coming from the rear of 2015 20th St West. Three engines, one ladder truck, a heavy rescue and battalion chief were dispatched.
On arrival crews found a single story home with heavy flames and smoke coming from the rear of the house. The house was boarded up. Fire crews started an exterior attack and discovered the floor had been burnt through. Fire crews went defensive and did not enter the house. It took approximately 20 minutes to contain the main body of fire. Fire crews remain on scene extinguishing hot spots.
The fire is consider to be suspicious and is under investigation. There is no damage estimate at this time.
