SFD responded to pallets on fire next to a large retail store.

Action(s) Taken:
  • 3 SFD Engines, 1 Ladder Truck, Rescue Unit and Battalion Chief responded to the rear of structure. 
  • Large stack of wooden and plastic pallets involved. Flames burning against exterior wall.
  • An aggressive offensive fire attack brought fire under control 10 minutes from the time of dispatch.
  • Interior of store sustained light smoke damage.
More Information:
  • The fire has been completely extinguished.
  • There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
  • A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
