Rooftop Medical Rescue - 400 block of 33rd Street East

At approximately 11:15 a.m. on June 19, 2020, the Saskatoon Fire Department was alerted to an emergency medical incident for a person experiencing a seizure on a rooftop. One fire engine and one aerial ladder truck were committed to this incident.

Upon arrival, a middle-aged male patient was located on the roof of a residential garage; firefighter-paramedics accessed and stabilized the patient as the aerial ladder truck was positioned to load and lower the patient to the ground-level for transport by ambulance to hospital.

Fire crews concluded their work on scene and have since returned to their stations to continue proudly serving citizens in need.
