Firefighters observed smoke and flames coming from the rear of a boarded up house

Action(s) Taken:

  • Crews advanced a hose line to the rear of the structure and applied water to the exterior.

  • Once exterior fire was knocked down, fire crews used forcible entry tools to enter the boarded-up house, to search and confirm no occupants were inside and check for any fire extension on the interior

More Information:
  • The fire has been completely extinguished.
  • There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
  • A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
