Structure Fire - 800 Block of 56th Street East

At 5:17 a.m., the Saskatoon Fire Department received a call reporting a fire on the roof in the 800 block of 56th Street East on May 7, 2025.  Three fire engines, a rescue unit, a ladder truck and the Battalion Chief were dispatched.  Heavy black smoke could be seen prior to the arrival of the first fire crew.  On arrival, fire crews reported heavy flame coming through the roof.  All incoming fire crews were assigned tactical duties on their arrival.  Utilities were shut down for fire scene safety.  A safety officer was assigned at the fire scene.  

Our fire investigator is on scene at this time.
