Scene Upon Arrival:
On July 31, 2026, the Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a report of a person and a dog in the South Saskatchewan River.
Action(s) Taken:
Over the weekend, fire crews conducted riverbank and water searches using dive operations and sonar scans in an effort to locate the person and dog.
The individual and dog were not located. The search has been suspended pending any new information.
