Proposal
The Planning and Development Department has received an application from Prairie 4 to rezone 1401 11th Street West within the Holiday Park neighbourhood.
The site is currently developed as a one-unit dwelling and zoned R2 – One and Two-Unit Dwelling District. The proposed rezoning to RM2 – Low/Medium Density Multiple-Unit Dwelling District would facilitate the redevelopment of the site into a six-unit Multiple Unit Dwelling in the form of townhouses, or other redevelopment in alignment with the RM2 District and development standards.
The purpose of the RM2 district is to provide for a variety of residential developments in a low to medium density form as well as related community uses. Based on the current size of the site, a Multiple-unit Dwelling containing up to 6 dwelling units would be permitted within the RM2 District.
