Discretionary Use Proposal
Erica Klein has submitted a Discretionary Use application requesting approval to develop a Short-term Rental Property at 169 Acadia Court in the College Park neighbourhood. This site is zoned R1A - One Unit Residential District under Bylaw No. 8770, 2009 The City of Saskatoon Zoning Bylaw (Zoning Bylaw). This zoning district permits residential development in the form of one-unit dwellings as well as related community uses.
The Zoning Bylaw defines defines a short-term rental property as “a dwelling which is not the principal residence of the host, but is used to provide rental accommodations for guests for tenancies of less than 30 days."
Subject to Discretionary Use approval, 169 Acadia Court will be permitted to operate as a short-term rental property for up to 6 guests at any one time accommodated for 30 days or less. One (1) off street parking stall is required and one (1) off street parking space has been provided. No construction or alterations are proposed as part of this application.
