The Planning and Development Department has received a land use application from Dream Asset Management Corporation (the applicant) to accommodate residential development in Brighton. The applicant proposes to:
- Rezone part of the SW 1/4 Sec. 29-Twp. 36-Rge. 4-W3M and part of the SE 1/4 Sec. 30-Twp. 36-Rge. 4-W3M. The land is currently undeveloped and zoned FUD - Future Urban Development and FUD(H) - Future Urban Development subject to the Holding Symbol. The proposed rezoning to RMTN - Townhouse Residential District would facilitate the subdivision of residential lots.
- Alter the boundary of a multiple-unit dwelling parcel on Brighton Boulevard on the Brighton Neighbourhood Concept Plan land use map.
- Designate five Residential Care Homes sites at the western boundary of the neighbourhood along asokan Bend, asokan Street, Brighton Gate, Cockcroft Place, and Cockcroft Bend on the Brighton Neighbourhood Concept Plan land use map.
