Motor vehicle Collision- Highway 11 near Victor Road

Firefighters found two vehicle collision 

One vehicle upright on the highway and the other one on roof in ditch

All people out of vehicles 

Action(s) Taken:

Fire crews ensured all vehicles were off and no keys in ignition

Fire crews help place patient in ambulance

Fire crews setup landing zone for STARS helicopter

  • The scene was turned over to Saskatoon Police Service for further investigation.

Structure Fire- 100 Block Ave V South

Fire Crews observed smoke coming from house

Fire Crews observed the structure's windows and doors had plywood covering them

Action(s) Taken:

Crews advanced  multiple hose lines to apply water from the exterior 

Crews used chainsaw to cut plywood off doors and windows

  • The fire has been brought under control.
  • Fire crews remain on scene.
  • A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.

Carbon Monoxide Incident - 100 Block Horner Cres.

First arriving crews found 1 patient who was suffering effects from carbon monoxide

Action(s) Taken:

Crews donned breathing apparatus and searched the under ground parking garage.

Crews located 3 more patients in the garage.

All patients were moved to awaiting ambulances for transport to hospital.

Fire crews searched the remainder of the building and no other occupants were located.

Fire crews set up fans to ventilate the garage.

Motor Vehicle Rollover - Hwy 14 & RR 3063

Firefighters found a B-train semi rollover.

 

Action(s) Taken:

Fire crews attended to the driver to assess his injuries.

City police were on scene to control traffic.

Crews controlled the leak from the damaged trailer unit.

Apartment Fire - Confederation Place

First arriving crews observed smoke coming from a lower level apartment.

 

Action(s) Taken:

Command assigned tactical duties to on scene personnel.

Crews advanced hose lines and entered the apartment.

Crews extinguished the fire.

Fans were set up to clear smoke from the building.
