City Council invested more than $61 million in 2019 for road rehabilitation and maintenance to make Saskatoon’s streets, bridges and sidewalks, smoother, safer and longer-lasting.
185 lane kilometres of road were improved in 2019; 1,247 lane kilometres since 2014!
Resurfacing was completed on priority roads College Dr, Circle Dr, Boychuk Dr and Kenderdine Rd.
Phase one of the Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge rehabilitation is completed (west side of the bridge).
Two new interchanges were completed: College Dr/ McOrmond Dr and Boychuk Dr/ Highway 16
Nearly five hundred kilometres of lines have been updated with paint and long-lasting durable material.
Twenty-five kilometres of water mains and sanitary sewer mains were replaced or rehabilitated this summer .
More than 97 kilometres of sidewalks and curbs have been improved since 2014.
