Saskatoon Transit is a division within the City’s Transportation & Construction Department. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic Saskatoon Transit experienced unprecedented growth, with year over year growth of 2.5 per cent in 2019 and 8.1 per cent in 2018.
With a fleet of 170 buses a staff complement of 417 employees, Saskatoon Transit fixed route service operates 41 bus routes with 1,500 bus stops. Access Transit is an accessible door-to-door demand response service for citizens who, by reason of a disability, are unable to use fixed route transit with safety and/or dignity.
Saskatoon Transit serves all corners of the city providing an eco-friendly alternative transportation for residents.
