108th Street overpass repairs begin September 14
Repair work on the 108th Street overpass over Circle Drive is scheduled to begin Monday, September 14. The work is required to repair damaged girders following a vehicle impact this spring.
During the repairs, drivers and pedestrians can expect the following restrictions:
Circle Drive: The northbound curb lane below the overpass will be closed to provide crews safe access to the repair areas.
108th Street: The eastbound curb lane on the overpass will be closed for repairs.
Pedestrians: The sidewalk on the overpass will be closed for the duration of the work. The westbound curb lane will also be closed to accommodate a pedestrian detour.
The work is expected to be complete by September 27, weather permitting and subject to unforeseen circumstances.
Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted signage and use caution when travelling through the work zone.
