6th Avenue and 3rd Avenue intersections on 25th Street closed for water main work

The intersection of 25th Street East and 6th Avenue will close for water main work beginning Monday, October 5, as part of the Downtown Water Main Lining Project.

The closure will be in place until October 19, weather permitting and barring unforeseen circumstances.

Westbound 25th Street traffic will remain able to turn onto Kinsmen Avenue for the time being. This access will be closed at a later stage of the work.

The intersection of 25th Street East and 3rd Avenue will close for water main work beginning Tuesday, October 6.

The closure will be in place until October 20, weather permitting and barring unforeseen circumstances.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted signage and use alternate routes while the intersections are closed.
