Admission by Donation returns to Saskatoon Zoo
For immediate release: November 1, 2025 - 10:00 am
CY25-11579
The fun doesn’t stop when the temperature drops! Starting November 1, admission to the Saskatoon Zoo is by donation.
See how different species adapt to the season. Arctic wolves, lynx and caribou are well adapted for the cold, while grizzlies and prairie dogs conserve energy through a mild form of hibernation called torpor. Indoors, the Small Mammal House stays bustling with ring-tailed lemurs, meerkats, Goeldi’s monkeys and African crested porcupines. At the barn, Maple and Euci take it easy in their Dingo Den, keeping cozy all winter long.
The Zoo welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the Zoo Gift Shop is open Thursday through Sunday.
