Circle Drive eastbound reopened

Circle Drive eastbound has reopened following a collision involving a semi-truck and trailer unit, overhead signage and street light poles.

A detour via Venture Crescent has been removed and traffic is now moving in the eastbound lanes of Circle Drive.

Sanding trucks have been sent to the location; however, drivers are advised that sections of roadway may remain icy. Drivers are also reminded to reduce speed, allow for extra stopping distance and adjust driving to current road conditions.

The overhead signage and and street light structures that were knocked down in the collision had to be removed first before the roadway could be opened.
