City of Saskatoon Boards, Committees & Commissions: apply now, limited vacancies remain for 2026
Looking for a meaningful way to serve your city? The City of Saskatoon is continuing its 2026 recruitment for a limited number of remaining vacancies on select civic boards, committees and commissions.
These volunteer roles offer residents an opportunity to contribute their knowledge, lived experience and diverse perspectives to help guide City policies, programs and services while supporting City Council in building a strong and inclusive Saskatoon.
The City welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and strongly encourage submissions from Indigenous peoples, equity-deserving and ethnically diverse communities, immigrants, members of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community, persons with disabilities, youth aged 16–23 and other underrepresented groups.
Our current opportunities:
- Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee: 2 vacancies for First Nations or Métis community representatives
- Public Art Advisory Committee: 1 vacancy for a First Nations or Métis community representative, and 1 citizen vacancy
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee: 1 vacancy for a youth aged 16-23
- Marr Residence Management Board: 1 citizen vacancy
- Saskatoon Appeal Board: 1 citizen vacancy
- Development Appeals Board: 1 citizen vacancy
- Municipal Planning Commission: 1 citizen vacancy (realtors and developers excluded)
- Board of Revision: 2 citizen vacancies
Applicants are encouraged to review the specific terms, duties and eligibility requirements for each position. Applications must include a résumé and two letters of reference. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until all vacancies are filled.
