City seeks community-minded leaders to help guide the future of SaskTel Centre and TCU Place
City Council is establishing a new corporation that will bring SaskTel Centre and TCU Place together under one organization.
The new corporation will oversee the management and operation of both facilities, two important venues that currently support Saskatoon’s community life, visitor economy and local businesses.
Applications are now open for qualified, committed individuals to serve on the inaugural Board of Directors.
Working with the organization’s Management Team, Board members will provide governance, strategic direction and oversight to help ensure the new corporation is well positioned for long-term success. The Board will support strong financial and environmental sustainability, sound operations and a shared vision for these valued community assets.
Council is seeking applicants with experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Governance and strategic planning
- Organizational performance and human resources
- Finance, law and risk management
- Marketing and business strategy
- Entrepreneurship and business leadership
Appointments will be made for varying terms to support continuity on the Board. Current SaskTel Centre and TCU Place board members, as well as members of the public, are encouraged to apply.
Applications are open October 1 to 16, 2026.
