Construction on Circle Drive East begins September 28

Construction to install a new sanitary sewer and a segment of fill main on Circle Drive East is scheduled to begin Monday, September 28.

The work will take place on southbound Circle Drive East between Attridge Drive and just south of 108th Street. The sanitary sewer will support development at the University of Saskatchewan, while the fill main will support future water system expansion and resiliency.

Construction is expected to take approximately three months. A 60 km/h speed reduction will be in place in the area for the duration of the work.

Work will take place five days a week from September 28 to October 16. Beginning October 17, crews will work on alternating Saturdays as required. Crews will also work Wednesday, September 30, and will not work on Thanksgiving Monday.

Work hours will be approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (daylight hours) and may extend to 10 p.m. depending on construction requirements.

Drivers can expect traffic impacts in the area and are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted signage and use caution when travelling through the construction zone.
