Downtown road restrictions in place for annual Pride Parade on Sunday
Various downtown roads will have closures and lane restrictions on Sunday, June 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the annual Pride Parade. The parade will have a new route this year to accommodate closures due to the University Bridge construction. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the event area. Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and watch for participants. The City thanks everyone for their patience.
The following roads will be closed between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for parade staging:
- Spadina Crescent loop under the University Bridge from Kinsmen Park to 24th Street E
These roads will have the following restrictions from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Pride Parade:
- Spadina Crescent from 24th Street E to the 3rd Avenue roundabout
- 19th Street E from Avenue B S to 3rd Avenue S
- Traffic Bridge (Victoria Avenue) from 11th Street E to 19th Street E
- 1st Avenue and 19th Street freeway access
Saskatoon Transit will implement temporary detours for Routes 5, 8, and 9 during this event. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
