Full closures of priority one roads happening this long weekend and Tuesday
Various priority one roadways will have closures and restrictions starting on Friday, September 4 until Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around these areas. The City thanks everyone in advance for their patience.
The closures will be as follows:
Traffic Bridge closed from Saskatchewan Crescent to Spadina Crescent for the Nutrien Fireworks Festival
8 a.m. on Friday, September 4 until 8 a.m. on Sunday, September 6
20th Street W closed between Avenue K S and Avenue H S for road work
Tuesday, September 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Spadina Crescent E closed between 21st Street E and 22nd Street E for water main work
Tuesday, September 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
12th Street E closed between Albert Avenue and Clarence Avenue S for sewer work
Starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8 until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9
Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
