Full closures of priority one roads happening this weekend and Monday

Various priority one roadways will have closures and restrictions starting on Saturday, September 12 until Monday, September 14, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around these areas. The City thanks everyone in advance for their patience.

The closures will be as follows:

• Broadway Avenue closed between 8th Street and 12th Street for the Broadway Street Fair. 
  This event includes closures on 9th, Main, 10th and 11th Streets.

  Saturday, September 12 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• McKercher Drive closed on the north side at 8th Street E intersection for road paving. 
  Two-way traffic on 8th Street will be maintained in eastbound lanes.

  Saturday, September 12 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Idylwyld Drive N northbound offramp to 51st Street E closed for storm drain repairs.

  Saturday, September 12 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Avenue C N northbound ramps to Idylwyld Drive N closed for overnight road resurfacing.

  Saturday, September 12 to Monday, September 14 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily

• Queen Street closed between 3rd Avenue N and 5th Avenue N for road patching.

  Sunday, September 13 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• McCormack Road closed between Streb Crescent and Fairlight Drive for crack sealing. McCormack Road and Heise Crescent intersection will remain open.

  Sunday, September 13 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
