Full closures of priority one roads starting Friday
Various priority one roadways will have closures and restrictions starting Friday, August 28, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around these areas. Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and watch for participants during the various event closures. The City thanks everyone in advance for their patience.
The closures will be as follows:
Hart Road closed from Bowlt Crescent to 22nd Street W for road microsurfacing
Friday, August 28 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
20th Street W closed from Avenue D S to Avenue B S for the Forkin Around Riversdale event
Friday, August 28 at 8:00 a.m. to Saturday, August 29 at 10 p.m.
Spadina Crescent closed from 20th Street E to 21st Street E for the Annual Ukrainian day in the Park event
Friday, August 28 at 7:00 a.m. to Saturday, August 29 at 12 a.m.
Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
