Full closures of priority one roads starting Thursday and Friday
Priority one roadways will have closures and restrictions starting on Thursday, September 3 and Friday, September 4, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around these areas. The City thanks everyone in advance for their patience.
The closures will be as follows:
Cumberland Avenue closed from Adelaide Street to Bute Street for crack sealing
Thursday, September 3 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ruth Street E closed from Jarvis Drive to Blain Avenue for sewer work
Thursday, September 3 at 8 a.m. to Friday, September 4 at 5 p.m.
Spadina Crescent E closed from 20th Street E to 2nd Avenue S for the Nutrien Fireworks Festival
Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5 from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. daily
4th Avenue S closed from 20th Street E to 21st Street E for crane lift
Friday, September 4 from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Circle Drive S on ramp to Lorne Avenue closed for road microsurfacing
Starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 4 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, September 6
Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
