Full closures of priority one roads starting Wednesday

Various priority one roadways will have closures and restrictions starting on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around these areas. The City thanks everyone in advance for their patience.

The closures will be as follows:

• Kensington Boulevard closed between Ells Crescent and Kensington Lane S for water main work.

  Starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23 and is expected to take four days.

• McCormack Road closed between Smith Road and Parr Place for road paving on Wednesday. Continuing Friday, McCormack Road will be closed from Parr Place to Borland Place for additional road paving.

  Starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 27.

• Taylor Street W closed between Kilburn Avenue and Lorne Avenue for water main work.

  Starting at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23 and is expected to take four weeks.

• 12th Street E and Dufferin Avenue intersection closed for water main work.

  Starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23 and is expected to take six weeks.

Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
