Full closures of priority one roads starting this weekend
Various priority one roadways will have closures and restrictions on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around these areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience.
The closures will be as follows:
Vic Boulevard and Hunter Road roundabout closed for paving
Saturday, August 15 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
33rd Street W eastbound lanes closed from Circle Drive W to Avenue P N for road resurfacing. Two-way traffic will be maintained in westbound lanes
Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
Spadina Crescent closed under Broadway Bridge from 20th Street E to Victoria Avenue for road work
Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
Ruth Street closed between Lorne Avenue and St. George Avenue for hydrant replacement
Sunday, August 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
