Full closures of priority one roads starting this weekend and Monday
Various priority one roadways will have closures and restrictions from Saturday, August 8 to Monday, August 10, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around these areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience.
The closures will be as follows:
Meadows Parkway southbound closed from Zimmerman Road and Market Drive for road paving
Saturday, August 8 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Cumberland Avenue closed north and south of 8th Street for Link signal maintenance
Sunday, August 9 from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Circle Drive northbound ramp to Attridge Drive westbound closed for streetlight replacements
Sunday, August 9 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
5th Avenue N closed from 24th Street to 25th Street for crane lift
Monday, August 10 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Lorne Avenue intersection closed at Willow Street E for sewer work
Monday, August 10 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Market Drive closed from Meadows Parkway to Costco entrance for road paving
Monday, August 10 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
