Full road closures on priority one roadways happening this weekend and Monday

Various priority one roads will have closures and lane restrictions from Saturday, September 26 to Monday, September 28, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience. The closures will be as follows:

• Spadina Crescent E closed from 21st Street E to Silverwood Road for the annual Step Up Marathon on Saturday and Sunday. This event includes closures on 24th Street E between 4th Avenue N and Spadina Crescent, and 4th Avenue N between 24th Street E and 20th Street E.

  Starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, September 26 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 27

• Idylwyld Drive N northbound ramp to 51st Street E closed for storm drain repairs

  Saturday, September 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• 21st Street E closed between 1st Avenue S and 2nd Avenue S for the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

  Saturday, September 26 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

• McCormack Road closed between Borland Place and Kinloch Crescent for road paving

  Monday, September 28 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• 115th Street E closed between Central Avenue and Rayner Avenue for sewer work

  Starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, September 28 until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29

• 20th Street W closed between Montreal Avenue S and Ottawa Avenue S for road patching

  Monday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Victoria Avenue closed between Taylor Street E and 2nd Street E for water main work

  Starting at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 28 and is expected to take four weeks

Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
