Full road closures on priority one roadways happening this weekend and Monday
Various priority one roads will have closures and lane restrictions starting on Saturday, October 3 until Monday, October 5, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience. The closures will be as follows:
McCormack Road closed at Gooding Place for sewer work
Saturday, October 3 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
McKercher Drive southbound closed at 8th Street E intersection for road paving. Two-way traffic maintained in westbound lanes on 8th Street E.
Saturday, October 3 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
108th Street W closed between Preston Avenue N and Bryans Avenue for overnight crack sealing
Saturday, October 3 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Circle Drive E westbound offramp to southbound Warman Road closed for traffic signal maintenance
Sunday, October 4 from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Circle Drive S southeast ramp to northbound Circle Drive E closed for temporary barrier set up for a failing slope
Monday, October 5 from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
25th Street E and 1st Avenue N intersection closed for paving
Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 5 until 5 p.m. on October 21
Idylwyld Drive N northbound ramp to 51st Street E closed for overnight road weather system installation
Monday, October 5 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
