Full road closures on priority one roadways starting Thursday and Friday

Various priority one roads will have closures and lane restrictions starting Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience. The closures will be as follows:

• Victoria Avenue and 1st Street E intersection closed for water main work

  Starting on Thursday, October 1 at 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on October 29

• 25th Street E and 6th Avenue N intersection closed for water main work. Kinsmen Avenue westbound turn lane to 25th Street E will remain open.

  Starting on Friday, October 2 at 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. on October 16

• Spadina Cres E closed under the University Bridge from Kinsmen Park to 24th Street E for bridge maintenance

  Friday, October 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
