Full road closures on priority one roadways this Thursday and Friday

Various priority one roads will have closures and lane restrictions starting Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience. The closures will be as follows:

• 21st Street E closed between 3rd Avenue S and 4th Avenue S for the All in a Day Event

  Thursday, September 24 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Avenue W S intersection closed at 21st Street W for sewer work

  Starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, September 24 until 5 p.m. on Friday, September 25.

• McCormack Road closed between Borland Place and Whitecap Crescent for road resurfacing

  Starting at 7 a.m. on Friday, September 25 until 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 26.

• Spadina Crescent E closed between 22nd Street E and 24th Street E for the annual Step Up Marathon

  Closures will start at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 25 and end at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 27.

Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
