MAIL-IN BALLOT OPTION FOR UPCOMING BY-ELECTION FOR CATHOLIC SCHOOL BOARD TRUSTEE
Eligible voters who plan to be away from Saskatoon on By-election Day (October 29, 2014) and during Advance Polls (October 19, 22 and 25, 2014) will still be able to participate in the upcoming By-Election through the mail.
Qualified voters who wish to apply for this option must do so in person at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall (222 – 3rd Avenue North).
At the time of application, individuals will be required to complete a voter’s registration form and verify their identity and address with a piece of government issued photo identification. Voters are encouraged to visit www.saskatoon.ca and click on “e” for elections to see the complete list of acceptable identification documents.
Voters who apply to vote by mail can expect to receive a ballot package in the mail in early October. The package will include a ballot, instructions on how to complete the ballot and return the ballot package, and a postage-paid envelope.
Ballots must be received by the Returning Officer by 8:00 p.m. on By-Election day, Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
