Reminder: Application deadline to join a City Board, Commission or Committee is Friday, September 18
Saskatoon residents have until Friday, September 18, 2026, to apply to serve on a City of Saskatoon board, commission or committee for the 2027 term.
Serving on a civic board, commission or committee is a meaningful way to share your knowledge, experience and perspective while helping guide City policies, programs and services that matter to you and your community.
Opportunities are available across a range of community-focused areas, including arts and culture, community well-being, accessibility, public safety, recreation, planning and development, civic services and more.
The City is seeking applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Applications are strongly encouraged from Indigenous peoples, equity-deserving and ethnically diverse communities, immigrants, members of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community, persons with disabilities, youth aged 16 to 23, and other underrepresented groups.
Applicants should review the specific duties, eligibility requirements and terms for each available role before applying. Applications must include a résumé and two letters of reference. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
