Road restrictions for Nuit Blanche starting Saturday
Various roads will have closures starting Saturday, September 20, at 3:00 p.m. to Sunday, September 21, at 1:00 a.m. for the annual Nuit Blanche event. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the event area. Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and watch for participants. The City thanks everyone for their patience.
The following roads will be closed for the event:
- 2nd Avenue between 21st and 20th streets
- Spadina Crescent between 2nd and 3rd avenues
- 3rd Avenue between Spadina Crescent and 19th Street
- Traffic Bridge
- Broadway Avenue between 12th and Main streets
Saskatoon Transit will temporarily adjust detour routes that currently run on Victoria Avenue and the Traffic Bridge during this event. Route 8 will use 8th Street, Idylwyld Drive, and the Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge to maintain service to and from the downtown area. Travel along Victoria Avenue, and the Traffic Bridge will resume once event-related closures are lifted. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
