Road restrictions in place for annual Downtown Sidewalk Sale

Various downtown roads will have closures and lane restrictions from Thursday, July 9 to Saturday, July 11 for the annual Downtown Sidewalk Sale. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the event area. The City thanks everyone for their patience.

The following roads will be closed daily from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.: 

• 2nd Avenue S from 22nd Street E to 23rd Street E

• 2nd Avenue S from 20th Street E to 22nd Street E

• 21st Street E from 1st Avenue S to 2nd Avenue S

Saskatoon Transit will temporarily adjust detour routes that currently run on the Traffic Bridge during this event. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
