Roadway microsurfacing on Stensrud Road beginning Wednesday, August 6
Roadway microsurfacing will be impacting traffic on Stensrud Road beginning Wednesday, August 6. This work will be completed in phases to minimize traffic impacts. Each phase is expected to take approximately one day, although schedules are subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
August 6-7
- Phase 1 (August 6): Keedwell Street/Van Impe Court to Willowgrove Crescent
- Phase 2 (August 7): Willowgrove Crescent to Willowgrove Boulevard/Square
August 10-17
Work will continue from McOrmond Drive to Willowgrove Boulevard/Square in the following phases:
- McOrmond Drive to Pickard Bay/Wilkins Crescent
- Pickard Bay/Wilkins Crescent to Botting Bay/Zimmer Crescent
- Botting Bay/Zimmer Crescent to Trimble Crescent/Paton Crescent
- Trimble Crescent/Paton Crescent to between Shepherd Crescent and Trimble Crescent
- Shepherd Crescent to Willowgrove Crescent
- Willowgrove Crescent to Willowgrove Boulevard/Square
Residents and motorists are asked to watch for temporary no parking signs, which will indicate the scheduled work dates for each phase. Parking restrictions will be in effect while resurfacing is underway to allow crews to complete the work safely and efficiently.
During construction, traffic restrictions will be in place and motorists should expect delays. Signage will be in place to guide motorists, pedestrians and cyclists safely through the area.
Drivers are encouraged to follow posted detours and use caution when travelling near construction zones.
