Traffic restrictions for road resurfacing work on 33rd Street beginning Saturday, August 8

Resurfacing work on 33rd Street West between Edmonton Avenue and Avenue P N beginning will begin on Saturday, August 8, weather permitting.

The work will take place in two phases, with one direction of traffic resurfaced at a time. Phase 1 is scheduled for August 8 and 9, while Phase 2 is tentatively scheduled for August 15 and 16.

The road will remain open throughout construction. Two-way traffic will be maintained using the lanes not being resurfaced, however drivers should expect reduced speeds, lane restrictions and delays while work is underway.

Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time, follow all posted signs and use caution when travelling through the work zone.
